Day 1: Arrival & Settling In

• 16:00 / 4pm: Arrive in Finnish Lapland and enjoy a self-check-in at your private cabin. 
• Evening: Unwind in your cabin at your own pace. Relax in your very own private sauna—a perfect way to melt away travel fatigue and embrace the tranquil Arctic ambiance.

Day 2: Immersion & Exploration

• Early Morning: Start your day with a self-served, nutritious breakfast in your cabin, fueling up with fresh, plant-based options while enjoying the quiet morning light over the Arctic landscape.
• Mid-Morning: Meet your Move with Nature team! Participate in an interactive workshop on ethical husky care and training before setting off on a husky walk using a specialised waist harness.
• Afternoon: Explore free time activities in Äkäslompolo. Discover local wilderness cafes, experience the unique ski culture, or visit nearby shops and the supermarket in Äkäslompolo.
• Evening: Optional outdoor BBQ where the possibility of aurora displays adds magic to the evening.

Day 3: Adventure & Reflection

• Morning: Savor a hearty plant-based breakfast in your cabin and prepare for another day of adventure.
• Mid-Morning: Choose from additional activities such as snowshoe walks or ski tours, or even booking an overnight ski tour to a remote wilderness hut. Alternatively, you can rent equipment from us and set off on a self-guided exploration of local attractions and soak in the peaceful ambiance of the region.
• Afternoon: Enjoy an afternoon walk with the huskies to reflect on your experiences.
• Evening: Take in the quiet solitude, light the fire and enjoy the heat of your sauna for your final evening.

Whether you want to know more about husky care and training, explore local ski culture, or simply relax in your private cabin with its inviting sauna, every moment is crafted to deepen your connection with the Arctic wilderness and create lasting memories.

• Mid-layers (fleece/wool jumper)
• Warm hat, scarf/buff & insulated gloves or mittens
• Extra socks (wool or thermal)
• Swimwear 
• Headlamp (especially December–January when it’s dark most of the day)

• Travel Insurance: Guests are required to secure their own comprehensive travel and medical insurance before arrival.
• Flights & Ground Transportation: Travel to and from Finnish Lapland, including all flights, transfers, and local transportation, is not included.
• Personal Expenses: Costs for additional meals, beverages, and any other personal expenses are excluded.
• Optional Activities: Extra excursions or extended activities (such as overnight ski tours or additional snowshoe walks) are not part of the package and must be booked separately.
• Tips & Gratuities: The package price excludes tips for guides, staff, or service providers. In Finland, a customary tip of around 10% is standard practice.

Check-in is from 16:00 (4:00 PM)

You’re welcome to arrive any time after that — we’ll make sure your cabin is warm, ready, and waiting for you.

If you’ve booked a transfer with us from Kittilä Airport or Äkäslompolo, we’ll coordinate timing directly with you based on your arrival details.

We understand that life happens, and plans can change. However, due to the small-scale nature of our retreats and the inclusion of private accommodation, we kindly ask for your understanding with the following policy:

• Cancellations made 45 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund, minus a €25 admin fee.
• Cancellations made 30 - 45 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival are non-refundable. No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel due to illness, personal circumstances, or travel disruptions, we recommend having personal travel insurance to cover your costs.
